CAUTION: Use only as recommended. Magnesium chloride is generally well tolerated. Most side effects are due to toxicity (hypermagnesemia). Mild hypermagnesemia is generally well tolerated, but severe hypermagnesemia can affect the nervous and cardiovascular system.
